    Mr. Wilkens,
I had a great time listening to your speech at Irvington.  I believe that it was a very inspiring speech that taught me how to be a better person.  I also enjoyed watching you pedaling when I waved to you from my van.  I checked out the website and I believe that acts of rehumanization are based solely on treating people equally because we are all children of God.  A great example of this would be organizing a charity to help developing countries, since it gives underprivileged people a chance to live and improve their lives.  Thank you for all that you have done.  Keep Pedaling!
    Sincerely,
    Neal

Thanks for taking the time to write Neil. I was hoping I would see some Irvington students as we pedaled by yesterday. We are on our way to La, Spent the night in Milpitas. I agree, treating everyone equal is a huge part of rehumanizing, and it can be so simple as calling out the van window “hi” at the stop light… ignoring someone is dehumanizing. by the way one of my son Shauns best freinds is named Neal P. A great kid! All the best, Carl
